DISSIDENT X

In DISSIDENT X, Hans Nobel, a fugitive American journalist with a photographic memory, must escape a 2033 surveillance state after New York City falls under martial law, only to find a new tyrannical conspiracy awaits him in Amsterdam. With nowhere left to run, Hans must choose between the pen or the sword to expose the truth and ignite a revolution. Dissident X takes us on a wild ride into a not-too-distant fictional political dystopia with state-controlled media, mega-corporation domination, and ecological destruction.

Since 2016, the Eisner Award-nominated Pander Brothers (Grendel, Triple X, Girlfiend) have been busy producing new story, art and colors for this definitive edition of Dissident X that presents not only the original graphic novel—now in full color—but also includes a brand new introductory prequel and finale, completely remastered and redrawn artwork, and a never before seen sketchbook section.

The 424-page Dissident X TPB goes on sale for $29.99 November 2019. DISSIDENT X TPB is available at your local comic shop, and online at Things From Another World, Amazon, Barnes and Noble Books. Written and Illustrated by Jacob Pander and Arnold Pander

GirlFIEND

The Pander Brothers are back and bloodthirsty with Girlfiend, their new vampire crime thriller! The brothers' first major work in comics in a decade, this meaty graphic novel finds them going back to what they do best: Taking comics to the edge. Known for their groundbreaking art in Grendel: Devil's Legacy, their terrifying Exquisite Corpse series, and their revolutionary epic Triple-X, the Pander Brothers now sink their teeth into this pulp-infused thriller in which a human and his vampire girlfriend hunt the criminal underworld to keep their love alive. Nothing could go wrong with that plan, right?

GRENDEL: Devil’s Legacy

The mind of a vigilante murderer is complex, wrought with anger and blood; it echoes through time in ancestral screams for revenge. And the cycle of death that comes from such a spirit is often endless and tragic. Such is the story of Christine Spar, adopted granddaughter of the terribly notorious, yet rich and graceful Hunter Rose, a.k.a. the original Grendel. It's the near future, and Spar takes her son, Anson, to see a kabuki show, not knowing what tragedy lies ahead. The mysterious leader of the troupe cuts a terrifying figure, cat-like and dangerous, with an odd fixation for Spar and her son. Soon Anson disappears, and Spar takes up the mantle of Grendel. So the cycle begins. Written by Grendel creator Matt Wagner, illustrated by the talented Pander Brothers - Jacob Pander and Arnold Pander,, and colored by Jeromy Cox.
